Drizzly day
up Montevina Road from end. Stumbled around in the brush at what was the apparent actual high point off the trail to the right.

Montevina
I was curious about this area and enjoyed a brief word with the horses across the street from the small parking area at the TH.

In Reverse
Started at the Montevina Road TH, summited, then hiked down to Sheldon Rd. TH and back up again. Lovely day, nice views of Umunhum, the valley, etc.

Montevina
Came up here 3 years ago, chasing Geocaches in a park I'd never been in. Back at least once since then!

Montevino
Biked up from the reservoir on Montevino road --nice views but had to dodge trucks delivering stuff to the various fancy houses.

From Sheldon Road
Nice little hike on one of the coldest mornings in recent memory. Went to the other two trailhead gates that lead into El Sereno OSP as well. Made it from car to car in about 2:20.
Route Climbed: Montevina Road Date Climbed: January, Febuary, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November...and probably december 2005
it would take many years to figure out how many times i've been up el sereno. Fun bike ride-good walls, bad climb. Needs a single track on the way down, any volunteers?

WHAAA!?what are you talking about good bike ride down to LG.
Its a fireroad with a couple of walls...not very good if you ask me
I'd go for singletrack

Re: WHAAA!?Hey, it ain't bad. Its one of those hi-speed downhill bombing trails. Sure, singletrack is way better, but fireroad is fun too.
