WOW!

You've definitley set a high standard for the range pages. The "Monster Maps" is a great idea and resource, thanks for taking the time to do those. Can't wait to see your Gore Range page!

Thanks

Thanks for the nice vote. Well, I think I'm done with Range pages, too much work. Jon Bradford will be doing one for the Gores, it should be excellent.

Elk Range versus Elk Mountains

While searching for this page, I noticed it didn't come up in the search function. I figured out why.

Anyway, all maps label this as the "Elk Mountains" verus the "Elk Range" as labeled here. I just thought I would give a heads up in case you wanted to change the name to Elk Mountains.

Nice map, BTW.

Brilliant

I especially like the "super hikes" section (and maps); would be wonderful if more areas in Colo and elsewhere were as well served

This...

is unquestionably one of the best and most time-endured pages on SP.
Thanks for the effort, brillant pictures and beta on this awesome range!!
The monster maps/topos are especially nice.

Lat and Long

The current coordinates place the range in southern Arizona. This is the default spot and numerous pages have been placed there erroneously. Just trying to clean this up! Thanks!

Re: Lat and Long

I've changed the coordinates to match those of Castle Peak, the highest in the range. Thanks!
