South Gully
Dayhike from Two Pan with Paul McClellan. This mountain is close to the trailhead, so its not too bad as a dayhike. This was #75 on the Oregon Top 100 list for both Paul and I.

Luna's Birthday Summit
With Luna for her 7th birthday. Camped in the meadows below. Hiked up among a herd of elk in the morning. Bull was bugling like he was the rooster of the valley. Crappy scree and sand on the ascent, very loose. Great views, hung out up top for about 45 minutes. Lots of slip and falls on the way down. At one point, I fell on my right hand which landed on some stickery plant that then stung and throbbed for about 15 minutes after like it was some sort of nettle. Wasn't going to have enough time to climb Glacier Mountain this day so we bugged out before the storms rolled in that night. White knuckle drive with the wipers on high on the way back to Portland.
