Ice window

Very interesting ice formation above head of a trekker. Good photo for lessons about glaciers, very good visible ice layers. I will show it to my students.

Thanks Konrad. I saw the ice hole and then saw my partner hiking towards it and thought "I gotta get this one". Hope your students like it. :-D

Great Ice

Very nice formations. How come I can't view this image and the other one from this trip any larger?

Thanks Gimpilator. You should be able to view them at a resolution of 1200px which is 2.4 times bigger than the one you see above. As you may know, I resize almost all my photos before uploading them to SummitPost. The reasons are that it saves space, secures my photos, and is faster for uploading. There are of course exceptions like diagrams and topographic maps.
