Very InterestingGood article Fred. I'm sure I'm one of many who neglect the history of the Mitellegigrat and the Lauper route due to the fixation with the Nordwand.

Fritz Steuri seniorVery nice article. Thank you. I always love to read of my grandfather Fritz Steuri. You might be interested to know that he climbed the Jungfrau over 1000 times during his guiding career and is to this day referred to as the "Ski-Koenig" (ski-king) in Grindelwald.
