Five Polish Lakes hut

After a demanding ascent of some 600M from the valley floor was rewarded with a magnificent view of this most picturesque valley with the 5 frozen lakes and sweeping vista of a ridge of mountains above. Ascent on April 9th, in winter conditions but dazzling sunshine. 1 meter of snow accumulating over several days extra on top of existing meter for 2 meters total on ground. More spectacular views than below Rysy at Morskie Oko.
