Felt Hat and Cub Peak
Great flowers, no snow. Dry conditions in the Bear River Range. Road in from Beaver Creek is good with one minor rut. Road from Danish Pass to Franklin Basin is really good. Views all the way to the Grand Teton to the north.

Happy 4th
Beautiful hike. Came up from a cg Franklin Basin, walked along The Highline Trail and then made it to the top for a nice view of the area and Bear Lake.
Enjoyable hike. From Danish Pass, followed the Highline Trail up to the ridge and then cross country to the top. Nice little granite out cropping that makes up the highpoint. 12th Idaho CoHP.

From Egan Basin
This was the second county highpoint of the day for my bro-in-law, Michael Eschenberg and me. We were back to the family reunion at Bear Lake by noon.
I found out that the highpoint of Franklin County was nearby so I decided to climb it. It was late September so the fall colors were at their best. I drove from Logan Canyon into Egan Basin and started from there. It is a short hike but the views of Bear Lake are quite nice.

Nice view
I came in from Preston Idaho and exited to the south into Utah. The hike itself was relatively short but the high spot was kind of fun with nice views, particularly that of Bear Lake.

Made It!
Got up about 4:00 to make it for sunrise but barely missed it. Made it to the top at about 6:00 AM. We came from Preston and up Hillyards Canyon. Great View! Great Mountain!
