Look At Those Lines!It's a very interesting slope. I've never seen anything like it.

Re: Look At Those Lines!So them are man made lines. To prevent a massive snowmelt during "rain on snow", back in the day they built these with a dozer..or even sometimes by hand. They tilt inward holding the meltwater. In the early days of the valley below, big floods and washouts would come down and wipe out communities along the Wasatch. Check this link out. It is just on the other side of the mountain from this picture of Provo Peak Corral Mountain
