..it looks like I read this TR nearly 2 years ago. Well, I just read it again in the light of our experiences last July, coming down this route... slight echoes of Peak Monster running out of gas on summit block of Mont Blanc on that occasion? Maybe something about the grandeur of the place distracts you from your customary diligence on the matter of re-fueling!
