Fremont Peak

Fremont Peak

Fremont Peak (right) as seen from just north of Island Lake, in the late afternoon. The southwest buttress is the portion of the mountain with snow. The elevation difference is about 3200 feet from where the picture was taken to the top of Fremont Peak. 9/29/2006

Outstanding clarity

I was there this summer during the fires and everything was so smoky and hazy for much of the time. This is the best photo I've seen of Fremont.
