I’m a frequent visitor to the Barry state game area as I hunt a lot. On a whim I googled the high point of the county. I was pleasantly surprised to find it near the areas I frequent. Even though it was cold I decided to ascend, it wasn’t very difficult to find and the cold meant no bugs or ticks. The land and Barry county is beautiful and reminds me of my time living in E. Tennessee.
