Friendshuh Mountain with AdventureDogs
Took the 4wd road branches off from near the top of the Battle Mountain road. About 2-1/2 miles back on the very rough 4wd road is a make-shift parking lot. Dogs and I hiked up the hill to find a large round watering trough. From there is was not far, just a ways to the south. It was very hot, but had lots of water, although dogs seemed to get exhausted from the heat. Peak has nice views at LOTS of poison ivy. In fact, I got a major case of poison ivy on my right arm that left scars.

First Summit HereThis is a fun place to explore - really "off the beaten path". I need to visit this more often.
