Re: SteepIt sure is, looking down from the summit of Markham. I climbed up that way (the north face?); the easier way is via Markham saddle.

Re: SteepAt Eaton Saddle there is one trail that leads to Markham Saddle, and the ridge to the summit of Markham (or on to Lowe); there is also another whose sign is obscured that leads straight up the face of Markham. That's the one I took. It's not that bad until you get near the summit where there is some exposure.

Re: SteepTry it, I think you'll like it...it isn't too steep, and the first half or so is relatively straight forward. It's not loose, it just requires you to pick your way cautiously, particularly the last third. If you do it, let me know what you think!
