Wild Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus) is a low shrub with branches that root from the node tip when they reach the ground. It is very common especially in the mountain glades. Fruits are delicious and rich in vitamin C. They can be picked from July to September. Juice from wild blackberry fruits is said to ease cold and sore throat. Tea made from blackberry leaves is a remedy for upset stomach.
