Alto de Garajonay - normal route from Laguna Grande
Florence and I together with another 12 bikers went up in VTT from Laguna Grande. Way down to Valle del Rey beach was thrilling after a nice gastronomic stop in Cesar Manrique's restaurant.

Florence and I headed from Laguna Grande taking the longer trail. Couple of hours to get up. Nice views of Fortaleza and Teide.

Great walk, great island, but was cloudy all day. We could see Fortaleza Mt for a sec and till today I feel it was like a dream. Amazing

Take the long way
Climbed Fortaleza de Chipude, then traversed Barranco del Erque and headed for Garajonay. Imperfect weather on to, Teide could only bee seen through holes in the fast moving clouds.

Lovely dayGreat hike in superb weather. Started from Chipude and climbed Fortaleza first. Great views of all surrounding islands including Gran Canaria.

Route Climbed: Normal Route from Laguna Grande Date Climbed: november 2015Entertaining walk through splendid laurel forest. Recommended when you pay a visit to La Gomera.
