Gearing Up and Roping Up for Gunsight Notch to South Peak

Photo by KR. I led on two 8.7 mm single-rated ropes, one tied to each partner, but I only clipped one line. Jack went second and just enjoyed the climbing. KR went third and cleaned, knowing that each time she removed a piece, a subsequent fall might mean a swing over hundreds of feet of exposure. Great climb! Seneca Rocks, WV-- April 16, 2016
