Hmmm

This looks MUCH more tame than when my party attempted the section last Feb. It was absolutely terrifying and one of our members flat out refused to cross!!! That fall down the Nisqually would be quite the out of body experience! I recall seeing places to hammer in a pin or two around here.

Conditions are everything

This photo was taken in April - the peak of the snow level on Rainier. I've done Gib Ledges 3 times and have encountered a variety of conditions so I can see why some folks would be intimidated.
