Re: WowThat might be the only area in Utah with a typical snowpack. Below treeline at about 9300', the two nearest snotels were reporting 87% and 123% of normal, 34" and 32". I was surprised to find the snowbanks on the road over my head in places. Above treeline, I'm not sure what is typical this time of year. It is so windy, that the snow just blows away. I was surprised and dismayed at how little snow there was. There were lots of exposed rocks making skiing difficult and there were even places where the grass was sticking up.

Very envious ... in Arizona things are looking so brown, even when compared to a low snow-year up in UT ...
