From Dusy Basin
Getting up to the pass was no fun. The route from there was divine.

South Chute
Up a southern chute proved to be a stress-free trip, albeit long, with a decent amount of Class 3 along the western edge straight to the summit. Fun stuff!

NE Ridge
Good to get another late season trip in with good weather. Absolutely loved this route.
As it happens I forgot to print off any details on the route, and really didn't read anything eather other than there were a couple of knife edge sections. Made the routefinding more interesting and really much more enjoyable too. Fun climb for sure!

NE ridge
Fun scrambling, with some spicy parts. The "one-way rock" balanced on the ridge was particularly interesting. Trip report

NE Ridge
The fun scramble near the peak was obviously somewhat forgotten after the events. Luckily, as I sign this log 2 years after the climb, Joyce is doing well. Whether or not this incident had anything to do with it, I am now great friends with 3 of the 6 others to sign this log, and proud to know those other 3!

NE Ridge
You're welcome Joyce! :-)
Despite the unfortunate accident, the NE Ridge was a fantastic class 4 route. It had some of the best climbing of the 2006 Challenge. Thanks again everyone who was there and helped out with the rescue. Glad everything turned out well. Trip Report

2006 Sierra Challenge
Great day out with the Sierra Challenge group until the unforunate injury to Joyce. I bailed off the NE ridge and did the SE ridge arriving about 15 minutes after the rest of the pack.
