Glacier Point
This was a great spot for a family photo. Absolutely amazing views of Yosemite!

Amazing views of the Valley from up here.

On the way to Sentinel
Even with snow this is an easy trail to follow. First timers in Yosemite should definitely make this for the world class view.

Four mile trail
Took the lovely Four Mile Trail up and down. Down was hard on my knees, but the way up was absolutely beautiful. Something gorgeous to see at every turn.

Glacier, Sentinel, Roosevelt, and Taft
Drove to the parking lot early in the morning. Relatively few crowds. Clouds covered the valley and the view was amazing as they blew out. Headed to Sentinel Dome afterward.

Up 4 Mile Trail
Good hike up, lots of switch backs but nice views of the valley on the way up. Can't beat the Glacier Point view on top.
Between 2003 and 2006. I used to run up and down that trail. It was always done prior to my big adventure as a training (Clouds Rest and Half Dome in 2 days. I no longer do it because of the crowds.

Snowy top
Encountered some steep snow higher up. Good views. Didn't quite make the top due to sketchy snow blocking the path for the last 100ft.

Via Panorama & Four Mile Trails
Approximate date of last ascent. I've taken both routes up multiple times. The trip up the Mist Trail, up the Panorama Trail, and down the Four Mile Trail is a classic and my first choice to show someone what Yosemite is all about, i.e., spectacular waterfalls, spectacular views, spectacular crowds.

From the Car
Drove up, stepped out, and walked the 30 feet to the Point. No, just kidding, hiked up FMT, then on to Panorama trail and JMT. Long loop, about 18 miles, started pouring rain on the home stretch. Illouette Fall along the hike is vastly underrated (more likely, not well known).

Four-Mile, Panorama trails
Four-Mile Trail up, Panorama Trail down. The third time I've hiked up Four-Mile. Always a scary trail, especially the part my friends and I refer to as "Switchback 60." Those who have done this trail in the early spring know what I'm talking about.

Chimney Trail...
I'm only signing the climbers log because we went the....shhh....super secret chimney trail...closed for years now...BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Had a hard time finding the trailhead. Ended up parking a mile away. Cool cloudy day. Heavy thunderstorms dumped on us once we made our way down at 1pm.

Four Mile
Have traveled this path numerous times in the past, always taken by the glimpses of Half Dome across the way, and never, never prepared enough for the three-ring circus awaiting at the top.

Glacier Point via 4-mile trail
Climbed via the 4-mile trail with a team of ten. Continued on to Sentinal Dome then descended the Panoramic trail / Mist trail to get back to base camp (Upper Pines). It's true, the Panoramic trail has some incredible views. And the 4-mile trail ain't too shabby either.Yosemite rocks!

Several times
Some memorable visits including January 2003 as an overnight ski trip from Badger Pass and again from the valley via Nevada and Illilouette Falls and down the Four Mile Trail, plus a few driveups.
Winter is absolutely the best time for a visit and the bathrooms are the worst I've seen in North America!
