"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Demers RidgeHiked up with some friends en route to Demers Ridge to get the 2000 foot prominence summit. Although the views were great a booming Dusky Grouse was my favorite sight on the hike.

Huck HeavenNice stroll on 8/17/2014 with my friend Brenda and the dog. Lots of hucks, we oinked along the way !
It was overcast most of the day, this would be a hot sucker on most summer days.
Anyone ever ski it ?

Glacier ViewGreat views of the North Fork and Glacier. Had a few hundred feet of snow left on the upper slopes. Fun glissading.

1st O Crew summit of the seasonClimbed with GPI O Crew members Josh, Anders, Becky, Katherine, And Colin. Beautiful day, great views of the Livingston Range. The trail was steep, but the false summits were nowhere near as much trouble as previous summitposters have made them out to be.

Snowshoe ClimbAlmost made it to the top but turned around due to brutal wind and wind chill. Nice views of the North Fork.

Glacier ViewGreat views, until cloud cover reduced visibility to about 200'. Minimal snow until around 5000'. Postholed/waded through thigh deep snow to the "summit". During a brief clearing I looked back to discover I actually was several hundred feet shy of the true summit. No blowdowns to speak of on the exposed section of trail.
