The traverse
Our Sheffield climbing friends Pat and Martin took us to Snowdonia for five days in May 2014. The first hike we did, was the Glyder Traverse which we did in pretty much total white out and rain. Nonetheless, wonderful hike.

Some very misty, wet and snowy weather. Took in Bristly Ridge, Glyder Fawr and the Devil's Kitchen.

Several ascents
Last time was in 2008 via Bristly Ridge, after climbing Tryfan North Ridge, but I have made several ascents over the previous 30+ years. A great day out.

Awesome
Got to the top via the exciting Bristly Ridge, definitely intent to get back up there one day and take in some of the other peaks at the same time. The mountains in the UK are one of the few things I miss about it.
My favourite way up is via Bochlwyd Buttress to Bwlch Tryfan and up the Bristly Ridge. Then after lunch, follow over Glyder Fawr and come down via the Kitchen.
