This is a different sort of photo than I usually submit, but I was intrigued by this old gnarled tree trunk that grew on the north face of the summit ridge of Davis Peak. The weather rendered scenery photos rather bland, so I was looking for something else to catch my eye. July 21, 2007.

Bob ... it's easy

to capture an image of a tree.
Trees very seldom move; unless a
typhoon or hurricane is bearing
down on them. Great tree, Bob!!!
