I've never thought about climbing that one. When we were hiking the Dodson Trail last month I took a picture looking west from the last saddle you cross before dropping down to the Homer Wilson Ranch. The rock formations in this area are just amazing in their form, color and shape.

Me and some friends tried to make it up the Southern face but were unprepared and couldn't find the way. It also started raining on us about halfway up.
The Southern face ascent has some tricky sections and is overgrown with brush and cacti in some places. You can get hurt if you're not careful.
I should note, we tried this during Spring Break and didn't see another soul all day.
We'll go back eventually and get at it from the Southern side (green route on the terrain/satellite picture)
