I love this shot......as it gives a sense of scale at how big these mountains are. Capturing such is not easy...good job! (Nice new snow on top, too....)

Re: I love this shot...Thanks again, Vernon. Many of the higher peaks got some pretty good snow the days I was there. On Friday, when I first did the traverse, there was nothing on Gable. You can see in the "nice day" shot on the page the difference. Wilbur, Gould, Siyeh, and even Henkel got a nice bit, Siyeh and Gould especially. A strange August indeed!

Excellent picturesWhat a great group of pictures. For some reason, the goat trail kind of hiking/climbing doesn't appeal to me (my wussmeter goes way up).
