John, crossing a section of the notorious "Goat Trail Traverse" while en route to Birkenhead Peak in British Columbia.
The "Goat Trail Traverse" is not an official trail or path, although a narrow path can be found and followed in many sections of it. This route involves a lot of careful sidehilling, including crossing multiple steep scree gullies such as shown in this photo. Surefootedness is essential during these sections, as a slip can be fatal. Many areas might have stepping locations smaller than boot sizes.
