Golden Horn

Golden Horn as seen from the climb up to the Fuller-Vermillion saddle. Both the east and west summit blocks of Golden Horn are visible. The Vermillion-Golden Horn saddle is to the left. The route up through the cliff bands to the saddle is visible. You have to stay left of the snowbank (middle of picture) to keep the route difficulty at Class 2+.

Da' Horn ya ya

Man that pic is making me get excited about long summer days up in the high country! I love the Horn, what a peak, what a view...

The Horn made for a great day. It was Labor Day and amazingly we had the mountain all to ourselves. And you are so right...the view from the top is amazing! Wish I could spend more time in the San Juans. Happy Trails, Mark
