rating questionIf the move is in the route, the route would not be rated 5.4, as routes are rated by their hardest move. Perhaps the 5.9 move is off the main route or a variation thereof?

Re: rating questionThis is just how Jtree is - the ratings can sometimes be pretty sandbagged. Last time I was there I led a 5.6 (The Mikado) that a nearby party told me had a 5.8 start :) Sure enough ...
Beware the ratings if you ever go there...

Re: rating questionlol... I see. I plan on making it out to JTree later this year, as I begin to discover southestern climbing when I move in a couple of weeks. -- I'll keep that in mind.
