There have been a lot of deaths on Pik Lenin. In 1990 43 climbers died in an avalanche and in 1974 a whole team of 8 women perished in a storm. Pik Lenin may be considered as one of the easiest 7000m peaks, but it's also one the deadliest mountains of all.
The photo shows a part of the alpinist's graveyard close to BC.
