Great little hike off the beaten path!

Only forty five minutes to the fire tower, but the side trip to Hanson was well worth it. There are two picnic tables fifty feet from the fire tower so it's a good picnic spot. Shorts, t-shirt, and micro spikes.

High Watch Trail
Trailhead was easy to find. Encountered some slick conditions on the trail, which we bypassed as best we could. The tower was a little icy, so we stayed off. We will return in the summer.
