Enjoyaqble read and dramatic pictures

Just wondered though, if it was a wet hike or more comfortable. The Elwah drains to the north so there could have been lots of moisture as some of your pictures seem to suggest. Nice to read, hope to make the trk out there and see it myself one day. Any suggesations? (10/10, by the way)

Re: Enjoyaqble read and dramatic pictures

I was there during a light snow in March. It was alternating between drizzle and lighter snow in Port Angeles. This drainage is not "rain forest" like the west side, it looked more like the west side of the Cascades.

It's a really short trail but there are clearly some scrambling and bushwhacking opportunities beyond. I doubt the rewards would be greater than the named peaks in the area though.
