Very nice climb
Not much snow on the ground when we started but it started snowing on the way up, and would not let up. That did not make for much of a view (white as far as the eye can see in every direction!)but it was a fun day anyway. Good training climb.
Climbed all the routes reaching the summit. My second home

Northern Grigna
Easy walk up in a pleasant landscape with wonderful views on Valsassina, Como lake, and the distant Alps.
Route : Normal summer route from Refuge Pialleral
I have reached this mountain many times
- from Pian dei Resinelli by ascending canalone Porta
- from Pian dei Resinelli by ascending direttissima and canalone dell'Angelina
- from Pian dei Resinelli by ascending cresta Cermenati (it's better to use this route only for descnding)
- from Pian dei Resinelli by ascending cresta Sinigaglia
This mountain is my second home !
Route Climbed: Direttissima and Traversata Alta Date Climbed: October 2005
I summitted Grignetta and Grignone many times in all season. In autumn I think you can encounter beatiful landscapes because the colours give to those mountains a peculiar aspect...
Route Climbed: From Cainallo Date Climbed: 03.06.2005
From Cainallo to rifugio Bietti and then I climbed from ferrata Sasso Carbonari directed to rifugio Brioschi on the summit of Grigna Settentrionale (2.410 m). Descending from Piancaformia's ridge to rifugio Bogani. Very nice tour.
Route Climbed: Grigna Settentrionale (Grignone) from Pialeral (south side) Date Climbed: 1987 (walking-up) and 2004 (skimountaineering)
I reached this top twice in Spring from south: the first I was very young and I'm not able to ski (with my parents); the second one with Marantz by skis and down directely from the top! Another climb on 1992 along the Piancaformia ridge and Via Ferrata dei Carbonari and another one from "Sentiero Venduli Olch" and Pizzo della Pieve.
Route Climbed: Grigna Meridionale (Grignetta) - different routes Date Climbed: From 1984 (first time I was 7th y.old) to 2004 (last)
A lot of time I reached this peak with my parents and different friends. From Normal route (Cresta Cermenati), from Cresta Segantini (classical easy climbing route), cresta Sinigallia, "Direttissima", "Sentiero Cecilia", Canalone Porta,...and also the Traversata of Torrioni Magnaghi (classical climbing route) and the Coltignone or Medale. Grignetta is a spectacular and panoramic peak over the Pianura Padana but also a great field of climbing activity!!!
