Re: Nice work Chris !Thanks Rob! Punted on the Whitney, too windy during our scheduled 3AM departure. Changed to the Bolam, but still too windy at 5AM. Slept til 9AM and awoke to perfect weather. Decided to go light and fast up the ridge given the cold conditions. Worked to our advantage, as had we waited until today we would have come home empty handed given we descended from Marine Camp in a near whiteout.

Re: Nice work Chris !Definitely interesting...first time in my life I witnessed a 7 member rope team, using a running belay on the exposed ice. Guess you never know what you might see on Shasta...even if it is the north side.

Re: CoolThanks for your vote! The Whitney reference is to the Whitney glacier on the north side of Shasta. It lies on the other side of the ridge on the right side of the image. Cheers, Chris
