Refreshing to see so many large tulip trees and canadian hemlocks. Good going and is probably less problematic for car security than the Albright Grove.

Thanks!

Security isn't a problem when you want to hike the Boogerman Trail. The campground is within sight, and the ranger station is less than a quarter mile away.

The grove on this ridge just seemed to go on forever. I've never hiked in a forest like that.

Thanks. Since April I have taken at least one hike per week. I really like climbing up to see the vistas of granite peaks and high cliffs. But the Boogerman Grove, which just goes on for mile after mile, enormous trees that dwarf you everywhere you cast your gaze--well, it was an amazing experience.

I've never been anywhere like the Boogerman Grove. I've never seen anything like it. The hike through those trees was nothing short of phenomenal. Always amazing, and actually frightening from time to time.

Thanks! I can't say enough about the trail through this grove and the experience of seeing such an extensive are of virgin eastern forest.

Thanks! One of the best hikes ever! I finally got the coordinates for the Sag Branch Poplar (world's largest), so I'm going back in the next few weeks with a GPS to look at it. I was close, but it's so green in there and there are so MANY huge trees that I couldn't find it before daylight faded.
