Hanging Inside The Crevasse

Crevasse fall at 7000 feet on the Easton Glacier, Mount Baker. Constant rain made an already difficult situation harder. This simulated scenario and subsequent rescue was part of the training program we use to teach new OSAT students glacier skills. Photographed June 9, 2007.

Thanks! I think it was more like 45 feet. But we couldn't tell if that snow at the bottom was actually the bottom.
