Took about two and a half hours to reach the top, but that was with a side trip to Big Bald Knob. The campsite at Hiner’s Spring had multiple streams running through it. The observation tower laying on its side at the summit was amusing.
Went up twice, once in July of 98 and then again on a solo trip to Ramsey's Draft in November 99. Hardly saw anyone else on the entire trip, practically had the whole wilderness to myself.
