Heading up the Jamtal valley, with the Dreiländerspitze (3197m) just left of center

If all goes well, we'll be up there later today! We've started at the Jamtal Hütte and have only been walking for some twenty minutes. But we don't exactly plan to follow the shortest route. No, first we'll go left and make our way up the Hintere Jamspitze (not visible in this photo). After that we'll pass behind the Vordere Jamspitze (3178m), the peak on the left that appears to be higher than the Dreiländerspitze - but that's only because it's closer. Only then we'll climb the Dreiländerspitze. 22 July 2013.
