Wow - what a dog!Is that dog of yours still climbing 4000m peaks?
Sadly our 10 1/2 year old retriever has developed cardiomyopathy and there will be no more mountains for him : (
He never got higher than 1100m

Duchess is pretty much deaf, and I am not sure about her vision, but still happy outdoors. Not sure how many more mountains we will do, so trying to enjoy her as much as I can.

Re: Wow - what a dog!Good for Dutchess - and good for you too! I think I clocked in a TR you wrote a while ago that she was about 14 - then!
Hopefully we'll get another year or two out of Mr Woof - but in retirement and popping pills (am grateful not diuretics for now - some sort of oral inotrope I've never heard of).

I had two Siberian Huskies climbing 4000m peaks, but they had gone some years ago and i can't decide myself...
