Hibox Summit View

This is the view looking north towards the cascade crest from the summit of Hibox Mountain. From left to right are Chikamin Peak, Lemah Mountain, Chimney Rock (the main peak is the pointy one with the northeast peak to the right), Summit Chief, Mount Hinman with Bears Brest Mountain barely discernible in front of it, and a portion of Mount Daniel. Glacier Peak is on the horizon framed in between Chimney Rock and Summit Chief. The Pacific Crest Trail traverses under the slopes of Chikamin Peak on the left of the photo and crosses over the pass, then heads down towards Park Lakes, which are in the foreground but never actually reaches the lakes before heading down into the valley to the north. 7-11-2007
