Always a great peak, one of the best panorama points in NW Wyoming, you can see all of the great ranges in the area. I truly love this peak, I have had some of my best summit days ever right on top of good ol Hoback. There are some old writings on some of the summit rocks, one from 1920.

Excellent Summit
Climbed with Bob Sihler. I found the views from the summit rather interesting. Not so much The Tetons in the distance, but that the remaining snowfields on the tundra of the back-country looked so much like sand traps on a golf course. It was quite bizzare.

Massive mountainHoback Peak is a massive mountain, and the views are great. Not a difficult hike, I hit the trail at 3pm and was down before dark.
