Hollywood Hills & LA from Verdugo Mountains

This view is looking South from the Verdugo Mountains. The Hollywood Hills are visible in the foreground from the right side of the picture with the mid-Wilshire corridor visible behind them and extending left to downtown LA. Palos Verdes is visible in the background, and behind that Catalina Island; you can see the Pacific Ocean at the right side of the picture between Catalina Island and the South Bay. So here is view of at least 50 miles of visibility. Although the white dusting in the foreground looks like snow, it is hail.
