Dayhike
Dayhike with my wife before a wedding in the are that evening. The recent burn makes for a very interesting hike, the views from the top are good but better from gunsight rock.

From Adobe Canyon Road
The scenic approach more than makes up for the lack of views on top- especially if one takes the side trip to Gunsight Rock.

Via Goodspeed
Sonoma Mountain HP in the AM and Hood Mountain in the PM - each roughly 7 miles, 2000 feet of gain and 3 hours. Good day! Best views are from Gunsight Rock, which is a 5 minute side trip from the the Goodspeed trail. Trip report is HERE
Up Johnson Ridge and over to Gunsight Rock. Limited views due to morning fog.

Goodspeed Trail
Hiked Hood Mtn and Gunsight Rock after hitting Bald and Red Mtns earlier in the morning. Disappointing view from the summit... Bald Mtn was significantly better.

Johnson Ridge
With the vast majority of the route under a canopy of vegetation, popping out at the top took me by surprise. I enjoyed the monument that referenced some of the history of the mountain and the views to be gained from standing on the tiny pinnacle behind the monument.

Great Day!
Double hump starting at good speed to Pythian then back with heavy pack. Great day to see the city etc.. 5400' of gain!

A lot of times!
This is my main stay conditioning hike. Have done it at a minimum 30 times last year alone. A favorite is to start on the Goodspeed train, go up and over to the Pythian trailhead then back. Done with a heavy pack and I was set for Denali and Aconcagua. GPS here:http://connect.garmin.com/activity/59424558
