Because this is a popular mountain biking trail, be alert in spots where the trail is not visible ahead. The vast majority of bikers are courteous and announce they're presence, however there's always one that thinks hikers should hear THEM coming and get out of the way so he/she can show their speed. I was almost run over from behind on the way down. That one guy should realize I carry trekking poles and I know how to use them! Otherwise, enjoy a beautiful trail!
