Horseshoe Peak and Ripsaw Ridge

Horseshoe Peak and Ripsaw Ridge

Ripsaw Ridge is one of the most impressive serated ridges located in the North Cascades. It spans between Mount Buckner at the east end and Boston Peak to the west. One of these gendarmes is famous and often climbed by folks working the Bulger List. Horseshoe Peak (8480 feet) is the highest point just to the right of "Lick of Flame" which is the tall narrow gendarme seen here at the left end. Photographed from the lower slopes of Mount Logan, July 29, 2015.
