Hoyt Mountain Fire Road to saddle and up the West Ridge
Nice late afternoon effort up the west ridge. Views make it worth it.

Great view-to-effort ratio
Up and down from Georges Gap - the use trail is still in good shape, but gloves are a smart idea. There was an individual swinging in a hammock strung within a tipi at the summit... and there appears to have been a lot of brush clearance up there.

Great views from the top
from George's Gap on an overcast day after being driven lower by rough weather higher up.

Went up west ridge from Grizzly Flat fire road. Nice little hike to a summit with good views.

Misty June Day
No views as I meandered from the shortcut trail on ACH along the ridge until I reached Hoyt and reversed direction along the fireroad back.

Nice little loop
We went straight up from the parking lot to the summit, down the back to the Gap then around and back up to the parking area. Nice.

Great views
Short steep hike up the east ridge from Georges Gap. Beautiful views all around.
Hiked this mini-peak a number of times. My usual route is from the parking area at Georges Gap (8 miles from the 210),take the Hoyt Mtn. Trail down to Mill Creek (about .5 mile) then take the Grizzly Flat trail around the north side of the peak (1.6 miles)to the saddle then up the west ridge to the summit, and down the east ridge back to the car.

Wonderful Little Find
I went up the east ridge from the Clear Creek Trailhead (the name was later changed to Georges Gap) to the summit and then down the west ridge to the junction of the Hoyt and Grizzly Flat trails. Then I reveresed direction. The ridges are both enjoyable and the views are great.
