Old Growth Hike
Very nice trail. A few blowdowns to negotiate. West trail had some views to the north.

ascended west trail, decended east trail
Beautiful coastal forest mountain trail. The weather was perfect and I had the whole mountain to myself. 65 minutes up, 5 minutes on top & 50 minutes down.

Moss everywhere!
A really nice hike through Oregon coastal rain forest. Leah and I stopped and made the jaunt to the summit during our drive home from Coos Bay to Ashland, taking the scenic route.
Not much of a view from the top, but a great little side trip if you're traveling up or down the Oregon coast.

Great Day
I agree not much of a view of the coast...but a fantastic hike anyway with FarNorCal! Seeing a couple of elk was a highlight...also a Geocache (unexpected) at the top.

Up the west, down the east
Made the hike with FarNorCalBeth while escaping the 100+ temps. in Yreka. Nearly jumped outta my boots when we startled two elk on the east trail!

Nice hike on a beautiful day. Great Trail! I thought there would be better views of the coast. The old growth forest is spectacular.

part of a long Oregon road trip
hiked this little peak with my dad and my best friend while my mom hung out at camp. we began the hike at our campsite (well maintained place, very enjoyable). hike through the forest was enojyable. expected a better view from the summit, but the nice little meadow was great to kick back and watch the clouds

Forest Stroll
This was a really nice hike. Starting out at the ocean and hiking up hill just enough to get the blood flowing. No view at the top made it all the more rewarding!!

Humbug
Took Dosha up this one after a windy and rainy night of camping at Humbug Mountain Campground. Partly sunny, with a few decent views north to Port Orford on the way up. Saw three other parties hiking on the mountain. Loooong drive back to Oregon City afterward, but at least the rain let up from the previous day.

North Loop Trail
Had a nice hike to the summit the day after enduring in-laws at Christmas. Good escape. The day was pretty cool and cloudy and the views were a let down, but still a neat mountain.

BahWe were staying in Gold Beach and decided to check out the nearest peak. Great forest but few ocean views. Did the whole loop.
