"Don't want to do it again?" Of course, anytime, anyday. It's a beautiful route with great vistas, in particular towards the what I call "Thunder Ridge". You know the one we saw from Sugarloaf Peak that runs directly from Thunder to Icehouse. That one is certainly on top of my list in terms of exploration hikes.
Just did this route (with slight variation) on 9 Jan 09. Got to Harwood and almost got smacked by a large piece of "flying ice", winds were the strongest i'd ever felt. Couldn't stand up straight withougt being pushed back down, so I elected to descend the bowl. Nice TR
