I *think* this may be Niagra...

I *think* this may be Niagra...

I *think* this may be Niagra Peak. It may be Snowdon or some other peak though. I just took the photo on Hwy 550 between Durango and Silverton, just before molas pass. Any help identifying this would be great. ...Yes, it is very digitally manipulated. The sky was actually white, not that color of blue.

Niagara

That does not look like Niagara to me. I am pretty certain that Niagara can not be seen from Route 550. Not as a nearby mountain like that anyway. You may be looking at Snowdon or Twilight Peaks from an unusual angle.

Twilight Peaks for sure. Good eye, Nader! This view is likely south of Molas Pass looking NE. Nice colors (if one looks past the digitally enhanced sky).

lol. Yeah, I was having fun with photoshop. The view is looking pretty much straight east just south of molas. Glad to know which peaks they are.
