Illimani

So close ... yet it's still an hour or two driving to the last village before base camp. Mind you, that's not so much the distance, but the quality of the road (or lack thereof), and all the winding and twisting through valleys and over high ridges. The good thing about that is that when the road climbs to a high point, there are lot's of opportunities to look at Illimani over and over again.
