This rather poor quality image shows the correct location of the trailhead. It is located across the railroad tracks behind the grey box in the center of the photo. From that box look for a trail that angles off to the left where the GNP boundary as well as a trailhead sign with mileage will be found AFTER walking about 100 yards.

Note that the propane tank is no longer there - the grey box remains.
